Let me tell you about one of our few Top Tier Sponsors!

Mindless are one of the original sponsors of the Hog Hill series, providing us with gear since the first Hogtoberfest, and supporting a myriad of other events long the way, including slide jams, dance comps, outlaws, go-skate-days and now generally being rad with active sponsored riders smashing it in the downhill, styling it up going fast and getting tech with some skids and longboard freestyle (Dan Ravenhall and James Allen represent!)

Both compete regularly at Hog Hill, and James Allen regularly hits the podium for tech slide. If you've ever met them, you'll see why they're sponsorable - awesome friendly riders who'll take the time of day to help you out, and who both care strongly about longboarding and the scene. Rudee, one of the key brains behind the brands regularly attends distance events with a few other Mindless/Stateside staff who all skate as well.

From humble beginnings, Mindless' Voodoo range challenges the market on both price and quality: complex pressed shapes on everything from cruisers to double kick tech freeride boards matched with solid, high quality hardware makes them a brand you should always consider every time you either look to buy a new board or recommend one. I've ridden a stock lakota pintail solidly for a year in all conditions - commuted, sessioned, dance jams, push races, and took it down Tregaron for 2 days straight, and it's still going strong!

Their Hamu dancer complete coming in comfortably under the £200 mark and is fast becoming both entry and competition level equipment in longboard freestyle. Alongside that complete range of skateboard/pool/tech slide boards, you can see they've got their eye on what you guys are all into. Their mission is to give you the gear to progress, and they're definitely doing that. The UK is fast developing its own style, and Mindless is there to fuel it with the right kit. Mindless boards are available through Longboards UK, another one of our sponsors, but also most skate shops can get them in for you (support your local!). Prices range from their classic boards at £60 up to their downhill offerings coming in around £200 complete.

They do a ton for the scene and their boards are often the gateway drug for new skaters, so show the guys some love on social media and get hyped for what they've got in store for us this year! Check out this stuff: Website: http://www.mindlesslongboards.com/about-us/ Facebook:
